Place maps (*.bsp) in cstrike/maps. Player models belong in cstrike/models/player/NAME/NAME.mdl. Weapon models overwrite files in cstrike/models (v_*, p_*, w_*). Make backups of the original files before doing this.

When bots are part of the build, press ~ to open the console and enter bot_add. Alternatively, begin a new game from the menu and pick a map that includes bots. If no bots are provided, set up a separate bot addon such as YaPB or PODBot.
