CS 1.6 World War II Thematic Build
Description
A Counter-Strike 1.6 package that re-themes the game to World War II. It adds custom menu music, a launch sound and icon, revised weapon models (v_, p_ and w_ files) with reworked inspect animations and sounds, 512x512 HD textures, and faction-specific soldier reskins: Soviet troops replace counter-terrorists and Axis soldiers replace terrorists.
- The interface and scoreboard sprites are redesigned in a wartime style.
- The config.cfg file is optimized with rates set near 100k and ex_interp at 0.01; it is compatible with builds 4554 and 8610.
- Core mechanics, hitboxes and map loading stay unchanged, so online matches and bot games work as usual.
Back up your config.cfg and clear old files from the cstrike folder before installing. Works on Windows with both Steam and Non-Steam versions.
Install in three steps

Download the archive. Use the button on the right, or the Yandex.Disk mirror if the main server is slow.

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.
