CS 1.6 Vortex Themed Build with Modern Skins and Dark Menu
Description
CS 1.6 Vortex is a themed client build for Counter-Strike 1.6 that adds 29 modern-style weapon skins, SWAT gloves, and a dark menu background showing four counter-terrorists.
- Player models are color-coded: red for terrorists, blue for counter-terrorists.
- Music, map textures on de_dust2, the radar, and the launch icon are updated.
- Weapon files use v_, p_ and w_ models with custom sounds and 1024x1024 textures.
- The config is rebuilt with rate 100k and ex_interp 0.01; it works on build 4554 or 8610 and with both Steam and Non-Steam launches.
- Bot mode runs on any map and uses .nav files where present.
Install in three steps

Download the archive. Use the button on the right, or the Yandex.Disk mirror if the main server is slow.

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.
