P250 Mechanogun Model for CS 1.6

Description

A replacement model that turns the P228 pistol slot into the P250 Mechanogun in Counter-Strike 1.6. The archive covers the player, viewmodel and world models along with a set of replacement weapon sounds for drawing, firing, reloading and the slide.

What is in the archive

v_p228.mdl: first-person viewmodel
p_p228.mdl: third-person player model
w_p228.mdl: world model for dropped weapons
sound/weapons: fire, clip in/out, slide pull and release, and draw sounds

Installation

The archive is structured for the cstrike folder. Extract the contents of the p250-mecha-industries folder, not the folder itself, into your CS 1.6 cstrike directory so the models/ and sound/ folders merge with the existing ones. Back up the original p228 files first if you want to restore them later.

Archive contents

10 files, 5.7 MB uncompressed. Copy the contents of the p250-mecha-industries folder from the archive into the cstrike folder inside the game folder.

Install in three steps

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.
