P2000 Faust P228 Model for CS 1.6

Description

This model replaces the default P228 pistol in Counter-Strike 1.6 with a P2000 Faust skin. The archive includes a viewmodel (v_p228.mdl), a world model (p_p228.mdl) and a weapon model (w_p228.mdl), plus custom sounds for clip in and out, draw, slide back, slide release and two firing sounds.

Install by copying the contents of the p2000-faust folder from the archive into your cstrike folder. The models go to cstrike/models and the sounds to cstrike/sound/weapons. The archive ships only the p_ and w_ models for the viewmodel path, so all three model files are included as listed.

v_p228.mdl: viewmodel with the Faust design.
p_p228.mdl: world model shown on the ground and in other players' hands.
w_p228.mdl: weapon model used for the dropped pistol.
Sounds: replacement clip, draw and slide sounds in sound/weapons/p2000/, plus firing sounds p228-1.wav and p228-2.wav.

Install in three steps

Download the archive. Use the button on the right, or the Yandex.Disk mirror if the main server is slow.

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.

Launch the game. If something doesn't work, mark it below - that is how we know the file needs an update.
