AWP Neon Noir Model for CS 1.6

Description

A replacement AWP pack for CS 1.6 that swaps the stock sniper rifle for a dark model with neon accents. The archive contains the first-person, player and world models (v_awp.mdl, p_awp.mdl, w_awp.mdl) and a set of AWP sounds for firing, bolt movement, clip handling and drawing the weapon.

Place the awp-neo-noir folder contents into cstrike so the models end up in cstrike/models and the sounds in cstrike/sound/weapons.
The archive also includes CS:GO-style bolt and clip sound variants in sound/weapons/csgo/awp.

The neon accents show up best on darker maps such as de_dust2 and de_inferno, where they make the rifle easier to spot against shadowy backgrounds.

Install in three steps

Download the archive. Use the button on the right, or the Yandex.Disk mirror if the main server is slow.

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.

Launch the game. If something doesn't work, mark it below - that is how we know the file needs an update.
