CS 1.6 XTCS Build: Six Upgrades for Models, Audio, Crosshair and Icon
Description
XTCS is a build of Counter-Strike 1.6 with six changes to visuals, menu, crosshair and sounds. Gameplay mechanics stay the same.
- Weapon models use v_, p_ and w_ prefixes for the view, player and world models.
- Custom menu music and sound events, a new menu backdrop and a custom launch icon.
- Sniper crosshair adjustments for long-range aim.
- Russian nicknames and Cyrillic chat input work without font problems.
- Runs on Windows through both Steam and Non-Steam launch methods, with a clean default config.cfg.
Install in three steps

Download the archive. Use the button on the right, or the Yandex.Disk mirror if the main server is slow.

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.
