Makarov HQ P228 Model for CS 1.6

Description

A P228 replacement pack for Counter-Strike 1.6 that adds high-definition 512x512 textures to the weapon's first-person, player and world models, plus custom firing, reload and clip sounds.

v_p228.mdl: first-person viewmodel.
p_p228.mdl: player model shown in the hands.
w_p228.mdl: world model for dropped and picked-up weapons.
Sounds: shot, clip in/out and slide sounds in sound/weapons/.

Extract the archive into the cstrike folder: the models go to cstrike/models/ and the sounds to cstrike/sound/weapons/. The sound files replace the default P228 audio.

9 files, 2.9 MB uncompressed. Copy the contents of the makarov-hq folder from the archive into the cstrike folder inside the game folder.

Install in three steps

Download the archive. Use the button on the right, or the Yandex.Disk mirror if the main server is slow.

Extract it into the game folder. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR. A path without non-Latin characters works best.

Launch the game. If something doesn't work, mark it below - that is how we know the file needs an update.
